Yamaha RX-V4A is a 5.2-channel AV receiver with amplification for 5 channels and two powered-subwoofer outputs.

The supplied YPAO microphone calibrates speaker levels and delays at one listening position. CINEMA DSP 3D adds sound-field programs for movies and music.

HDMI connections carry video to a display, while eARC returns TV audio over the same cable. 8K/60 and 4K/120 support depends on the video format and connected equipment.

Stream music through Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, USB or a home network. MusicCast CONTROLLER handles playback and compatible multi-room devices.

• Adaptive DRC, dialog level adjustment and 0–500 ms audio delay help match sound to the picture.
• ECO mode and automatic standby reduce power consumption.
