A microphone case for storing and moving a set
Transporting several microphones is about more than fitting them into one container. They need to be supported, with cables and mounting accessories kept away from the microphone bodies and grilles. This collection currently lists the Hardcase HNMIC12 for up to 12 microphones and their cables.
Capacity does not guarantee every microphone will fit
Microphones vary in length, body diameter and head size, and some have unusual shapes. Assess the whole set before ordering, particularly if you use a mixture of vocal and instrument microphones. Twelve microphone positions should not be read as universal compatibility.
Allow space for cables and accessories
Plan for coiled cables, microphone clips and adapters. Store them where they will not press against delicate microphone parts. Large mounts or extra equipment may need more space than the microphone count alone suggests.
Check the internal layout
Review the case dimensions, internal arrangement, handles and closures. The packed case should close without pressure on its contents and hold them in place. If a microphone has a dedicated fitted case or delicate accessories, compare which storage arrangement suits its construction.
