Yamaha R-N600A is a network receiver with stereo amplification and MusicCast. Play network music, USB files, internet radio, DAB/DAB+ and FM stations, or audio from a turntable and other connected sources.

The ToP-ART signal layout and vibration-damping ART base work alongside the ESS SABRE ES9010K2M DAC. Pure Direct bypasses tone, Loudness and balance circuitry.

MusicCast provides access to Spotify, Amazon Music HD and other services. Service availability may change. AirPlay 2 plays audio from compatible Apple devices, and the receiver is Roon Tested.

MusicCast can distribute supported connected sources to compatible devices in other rooms. AirPlay, 352.8/384 kHz PCM and DSD cannot be distributed through MusicCast Link.

Main Features

• Phono MM input plus 2 optical and 2 coaxial inputs for a TV or other digital source. HDMI ARC is not provided.
• Bluetooth 4.2 receives SBC/AAC audio from a phone and transmits SBC audio to compatible Bluetooth headphones.
• A/B speaker terminals, a headphone jack and a dedicated output for an active subwoofer.
• USB-A accepts FAT16/FAT32 flash drives, rather than a computer or charging devices; encrypted drives are unsupported.
• Front-panel controls and the included remote select sources and adjust volume.
• WAV, FLAC, AIFF, ALAC and DSD support gapless playback. DRM-protected files and 32-bit float WAV are unsupported; server playback also depends on the server software.
