Yamaha NS-SW200 is a Powered Subwoofer for adding low-frequency support to a stereo or home cinema system. A 20 cm (8 in) cone driver and amplifier are built into the cabinet, allowing connection to the line-level output of an amplifier or AV receiver. The Black finish suits other components in the system.

The Twisted Flare Port guides airflow to reduce turbulence noise at the edge of the port, supporting clearer bass reproduction.

Advanced YST II combines negative-impedance and constant-current control to support stable driver movement when reproducing low frequencies.

Main Features

• The PWM amplifier uses dual feedback to reduce distortion. Its efficient design helps limit heat generation.
• Front-mounted volume and STANDBY/ON controls provide convenient access. Rear-panel PHASE and HIGH CUT controls help integrate the subwoofer; the LFE input bypasses HIGH CUT adjustment.
• Automatic standby is selected with the HIGH/LOW/OFF switch. After approximately 7–8 min without a signal, the unit enters standby and wakes when a signal returns.
• The SYSTEM CONNECTOR synchronises power with a compatible Yamaha component. A 5 m system control cable is included. An RCA audio cable is purchased separately.
