Yamaha NS-777 Floorstanding Speaker

Yamaha NS-777 Floorstanding Speaker

Yamaha NS-777 is a 3-way passive floorstanding speaker. Its bass reflex enclosure suits stereo music systems and the front channels of a home cinema.

Two 20 cm PMD woofers work with a dedicated 13 cm midrange driver and a 2.5 cm aluminium-dome tweeter. Waveguide horns on the midrange driver and tweeter control sound dispersion.

Rear screw terminals have removable bridging bars. Leave the bars in place for standard wiring, or remove them for bi-wiring with separate cables to the woofer and midrange/tweeter sections.

Sold as 1 unit in gloss Piano Black. Photographs may show a pair; order 2 units for a stereo pair. An external amplifier compatible with a 6 Ω load is required.

Main Features

• The 3-way, four-driver system uses dedicated drivers for bass, midrange and treble.
• PMD cones use a polymer-injected mica diaphragm.
• Waveguide horns shape midrange and treble dispersion for home cinema use.
• Bi-wiring terminals support standard wiring or separate connections to the driver sections.
• Internal wiring uses Monster Cable.
• The front grilles are removable to expose the drivers.
• Magnetic shielding reduces the speaker’s external magnetic field.
• Includes 4 stabilising stands, 4 washers, 8 screws and 4 pads. The stands improve stability on the floor.
