Yamaha A-S301 is an integrated amplifier for a home Hi-Fi system. It accepts analog sources, digital audio from a TV or disc player, and a turntable with an MM cartridge.

The ToP-ART layout uses short, symmetrical signal paths for the left and right channels. The ART base and rigid chassis help control vibration.

Pure Direct bypasses additional circuitry, including tone, Loudness and balance controls. Continuously variable Loudness adjusts the low- and high-frequency balance for listening at lower volumes.

The optical and coaxial inputs accept 2-channel PCM audio. Set a connected TV to stereo PCM output; multichannel digital audio is unsupported.

Main Features

• A/B or A+B selection allows one or both connected speaker pairs to play, subject to the impedance requirements in the manual.
• Phono MM input, headphone jack and an output for an active subwoofer.
• Aluminium front panel, rotary input selector and source indicator LEDs. The remote also controls compatible Yamaha CD players and tuners.
• Bluetooth requires a YBA-11 adapter, sold separately; DC OUT provides power for the adapter.
• Auto Power Standby activates after approximately 8 hours of inactivity.
