WiiM Amp Ultra Streaming Stereo Amplifier

WiiM Amp Ultra is a streaming stereo amplifier designed to power passive speakers, stream high-resolution music, reproduce TV audio and operate as part of a multi-room audio system.

Two TI TPA3255 Class-D amplifier chips deliver 100 W per channel into 8 Ω or 200 W per channel into 4 Ω, with both channels driven at 0.08% total harmonic distortion. Post-Filter Feedback technology compensates for the effects of different speaker loads and helps maintain consistent frequency response.

Digital audio processing is handled by an ESS ES9039Q2M digital-to-analogue converter, six TI OPA1612 operational amplifiers and support for audio playback up to 24-bit / 192 kHz. The amplifier has a frequency response of 20 Hz–20 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 120 dB.

HDMI ARC, optical and analogue RCA inputs provide connections for a TV, CD player, computer or turntable equipped with a built-in or external phono preamplifier. The USB port can be used with music storage devices or as a digital audio output for an external USB DAC, while a dedicated RCA output allows a powered subwoofer to be connected.

RoomFit room correction adjusts the speakers and subwoofer according to the listening environment. The front panel incorporates a 3.5-inch touchscreen for album artwork, playback information, source selection and essential settings. Additional functions can be controlled through the WiiM Home App or the included WiiM Voice Remote 2.

WiiM Amp Ultra supports Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Roon Ready, DLNA and multi-room audio playback. Network connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, two-way Bluetooth 5.3 and Ethernet. AirPlay 2 is not supported by this model.
