The Turbosound Milan M18B is a 2,200 W powered 18-inch subwoofer designed for portable PA systems and permanent sound installations.

Its bandpass enclosure provides efficient low-frequency reproduction and extends the frequency range of a Milan sound system. Steep cut-off slopes help the subwoofer integrate effectively with Milan Series full-range loudspeakers. A single M18B can provide low-frequency extension for one or two Milan Series top cabinets.

The integrated 2,200 W Class-D power amplifier and switch-mode power supply operate together with Klark Teknik digital signal processing. Dynamic equalisation and limiting manage system performance, while the high-excursion 18-inch low-frequency driver features a 4-inch voice coil and double suspension.

The onboard control panel provides level, polarity, bass boost and boost frequency controls. Two combination XLR / 6.3 mm inputs accept balanced or unbalanced signals, while two balanced XLR Thru outputs pass full-range signals to powered loudspeakers or additional powered subwoofers.

The screwed and glued birch plywood enclosure has a hard-wearing semi-matt black finish. A powder-coated perforated steel grille protects the driver, while the 36 mm pole-mount socket supports a satellite loudspeaker. Supplied plated steel castors with rubber tyres make the 48 kg cabinet easier to transport.
