The Turbosound iQ12 is a 2,500 W two-way powered loudspeaker designed for portable and fixed-installation music and speech sound reinforcement systems.

The loudspeaker combines a 12-inch low-frequency driver with a low-mass voice coil and a high-temperature 1-inch compression driver. Its nominal 80° horizontal by 60° vertical dispersion pattern helps direct sound evenly across the intended audience area.

A two-channel KLARK TEKNIK Class-D amplifier delivers up to 2,500 W of output power. The integrated KLARK TEKNIK digital signal processor manages dynamic EQ, limiting, speaker modelling, subwoofer integration and feedback control. The SCC (Spatial Contour Control) function adjusts the frequency response according to whether the loudspeaker is positioned on a stand, floor, wall or ceiling.

Two independent input channels feature combination XLR / 6.3 mm connectors, selectable microphone or line-level sensitivity and individual gain controls. Dedicated XLR outputs for both channels and a separate Mix Out connector allow the signal to be routed to additional audio equipment. ULTRANET networking transmits up to 16 channels of digital audio between compatible mixers, loudspeakers and personal monitoring systems over CAT5 cable.

Local control is provided through a backlit LCD screen, a rotary push encoder and dedicated function buttons. The USB connection supports computer-based remote control and DSP or speaker-modelling firmware updates. A lightweight fibre glass reinforced composite enclosure, powder-coated perforated steel grille, internal rigging points and dual-angle pole mount make the iQ12 suitable for both portable use and permanent installations.
