Trace Elliot Overdrive is a bass effects pedal.

Its soft asymmetric clipping circuit is designed for the bass instrument range. Drive sets the amount of distortion, while Tone adjusts the perceived midrange and high-frequency harmonic structure of the distorted signal.

Blend mixes clean and distorted signals at the main output. Level sets the distorted signal level. A separate Dry output supplies an unaffected signal independently of the Blend setting.

True Bypass avoids the effect circuit when switched off. Use a 9 V battery or centre-negative 9 V DC adapter. The pedal generates its 18 V supply rails internally, so the external power input remains 9 V.
