Description
Description
Trace Elliot Dual Band Compressor Pedal
Trace Elliot Dual Band Compressor is a bass compressor pedal.
The pedal splits the signal into low and high frequency bands. LO BAND and HI BAND set their compression thresholds independently, allowing separate dynamic adjustment in each region.
Input Level sets the signal fed to the compressor; increasing it drives compression harder for additional sustain. Output Level adjusts the outgoing signal, while automatic make-up gain compensates as compression increases.
True Bypass routes the signal around the processing circuit when the effect is off. Power comes from a 9 V battery or a centre-negative 9 V DC adapter. Internal circuitry generates 18 V supply rails; the external input is for 9 V.
Main Features
- Independent LO BAND and HI BAND controls adjust compression in two frequency regions.
- Input Level determines how strongly the signal drives the compressor.
- Output Level matches the pedal’s output to the following device.
- Automatic make-up gain compensates for level changes as compression increases.
- Internal 18 V supply rails are generated from a standard 9 V source.
- True Bypass passes the unprocessed signal with the effect switched off.
- 6.35 mm input and output connect to a conventional instrument signal chain.
- A die-cast enclosure houses the controls and connectors.
