The Takamine GLN12E-NS is an attractive and comfortable guitar featuring Takamine's proprietary NEX body shape. This shape is like a scaled-down "Jumbo" version, offering an excellent balance between vocal support and playing comfort.

The main advantage of this model is its shorter scale length (630 mm). This reduces string tension, making the instrument sound softer and warmer, and pressing the strings against the Jatoba wood fretboard is significantly easier. The top is made of Spruce, which articulates the sound, while the Okoume back and sides provide a pleasant, "syrupy mids" frequency range.

The guitar is stage-ready with an integrated Takamine TP-3G preamp, featuring a 3-band equalizer and chromatic tuner for quick and accurate instrument tuning.
