The transmitter operates with the QLX-D digital wireless system in the H51 frequency band (534–598 MHz).

The device features completely transparent 24-bit digital audio transmission and a wide dynamic range of over 120 dB, eliminating the need for any transmitter gain adjustments – it simply transmits accurate sound. For security, advanced AES-256 encryption is used, making the system suitable for confidential business or government events. The transmitter has external charging contacts, allowing it to be conveniently charged in dedicated docking stations using an optional Shure lithium-ion battery.
