When using the USB connection, the MV7I microphone becomes fully controllable via the free ShurePlus MOTIV app. This software provides access to digital DSP functions such as Auto Level Mode (automatic level control, which adjusts sensitivity based on distance), EQ, compressor, and limiter. The microphone has an integrated touch panel for quick adjustment of microphone gain, headphone volume, and Monitor Mix (ratio of recorded and live signal). Thanks to its solid metal construction, the MV7I boasts reliability and durability, meeting professional Shure standards.
