Shure BLX24E/B58-K3E is a wireless vocal system featuring a BETA 58A supercardioid dynamic capsule, BLX2 handheld transmitter and BLX4 single-channel receiver, designed for live sound, concerts, rehearsals and presentations.

The BETA 58A capsule has a frequency response tailored for vocals. Its brightened midrange helps the voice remain clear in the overall mix, while the bass roll-off provides greater control over the proximity effect. The supercardioid polar pattern helps isolate the voice from surrounding sound sources and allows higher gain before feedback.

The BLX4 receiver features microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity, while the one-touch QuickScan function finds a suitable group and available channel. Once a frequency has been selected on the receiver, the same group and channel are set on the BLX2 transmitter. A two-colour audio status indicator shows normal signal levels or overload.

The K3E version operates in the 606–630 MHz frequency band and provides 10 mW of RF transmitter output power. Its operating range can reach up to 91 metres under line-of-sight conditions. Depending on the region, RF environment and operating conditions, up to 12 compatible BLX systems can be used within one frequency band.

The BLX2 transmitter is powered by two AA batteries, providing up to 14 hours of continuous operation. It also features a battery status indicator and a selectable –10 dB gain attenuation setting. The BLX4 receiver provides balanced XLR and 6.35 mm audio outputs for connection to a mixing console, active speaker or other audio equipment.
