The Showtec SM-8/2 is an entry-level 19" rack-mount DMX-512 lighting controller designed for use with intelligent lighting fixtures with up to 16 channels each. It controls up to 12 fixtures across 192 DMX channels using 8 faders over 2 pages, and supports 240 programmable static scenes across 30 banks and 6 chases with adjustable speed and fade time. Each fixture's channels can be patched freely to any fader, and the controller can be triggered via Auto, Music, or MIDI input modes for versatile use in live events, installations, and rehearsals.
