240 red, green and blue 10 mm LEDs are divided into eight controllable sections.

Section control creates running-light patterns and colour chases along the fixture. Six DMX modes offer a choice between basic colour settings and more detailed effect control. A built-in microphone supports sound-activated operation.

The bar also runs its internal programs without a console and can work in a master/slave setup. The manual permits linking with the older 42199 v1/v2 model, although program content, program speed and strobe behaviour can differ.

IEC power and 3-pin XLR connections provide inputs and outputs for linking. Adjustable brackets support different installation positions, and the black aluminium housing is cooled by convection. The IP20 fixture is intended for indoor use.
