Showtec Galactic TXT Laser

The included keyboard lets you create and store 10 custom texts.

RGB projection displays text, 128 animations and symbols, plus a clock, date and countdown adjustable from 0000 to 9999.

Nine built-in shows run automatically or respond to sound. A control on the housing adjusts the built-in microphone sensitivity.

The DMX personality uses 20 channels. Without a DMX controller, select projections using the onboard buttons, keyboard or IR remote.

Main Features

• Choose 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 characters on screen at once. Scrolling accommodates longer text, while saved messages play individually or in a loop.
• Adjust zoom, movement, colour, drawing and wave effects. Text can rotate around the X, Y and Z axes or be mirrored horizontally and vertically.
• Master/Slave operation synchronises several fixtures from one master unit.
• The keyboard connects to the PS/2 socket through the supplied USB adapter. This socket is not an ILDA interface.
• Place the fixture on a flat surface or suspend it with a suitable clamp. The bracket adjusts the tilt, and a separate safety eyelet accepts a safety cable.
• A key switch restricts unauthorised operation. The Interlock connection accepts a separate remote emergency-stop control; the supplied test connector is not a substitute for that control.

Who Is It For

Designed for professional text and lighting projections in indoor event spaces. This is a Class 3B laser: a trained operator must ensure safe beam alignment and termination. It is not intended for household use.
