The sE Electronics V7 ENG is a dynamic broadcast microphone designed for clear voice capture in broadcast, field reporting, interview, ENG/EFP, podcasting and live sound applications. This model is based on the V7 platform and features an extra-long handle format that allows space for a station identifier or broadcast flag.

The V7 ENG uses the DMC7 dynamic capsule with an aluminum voice coil and a supercardioid polar pattern. This design helps isolate the voice from surrounding sound sources and allows high gain before feedback. According to sE Electronics, the microphone is designed to capture voice with a clear, natural sound that feels true to how the speaker sounds.

The microphone features an all-metal housing made from a durable zinc alloy. Its beveled spring steel grille helps protect the microphone and prevents it from rolling when placed on a flat surface. The patented integrated shockmount mechanically decouples the capsule from housing vibration and helps reduce handling noise. The internal windscreen reduces unwanted wind noise and plosive pops, while the included additional black external windscreen helps cut unwanted outside noise.
