sE Electronics sE6160 is a shotgun condenser microphone with a hand-crafted small-diaphragm True Condenser capsule, designed for directional source capture in stage, broadcast, film and recording applications.

The sE Electronics sE6160 is designed to capture a selected sound source with focus while reducing the pickup of surrounding sound. Its shotgun polar pattern, specified as super-cardioid / lobar, supports use in applications where a narrow pickup angle, clear signal capture and source separation are important.

The microphone uses a hand-crafted small-diaphragm True Condenser capsule. Its 20 Hz - 20,000 Hz frequency range allows it to capture a wide audio spectrum, while 25 mV/Pa sensitivity and a 13 dB(A) noise level help maintain a clean signal in recording, broadcast and live sound applications.

The sE6160 supports up to 157 dB SPL maximum sound pressure level with the 20 dB attenuation pad, allowing it to be used with loud sound sources. The microphone features a 3-pin male XLR connector, 110 Ω impedance, a compact 19.6 mm diameter and 250 mm body length, and weighs 110 g. The package includes a mic clip, thread adapter, windscreen and soft case.
