The Samson Concert 88x Handheld (Band G) is a high-quality wireless system designed to provide freedom of movement on stage without any cables. The included CH88 handheld transmitter is equipped with a Q7 dynamic microphone capsule. The Q7 features a wide dynamic range and a supercardioid polar pattern, which perfectly isolates vocals from ambient stage noise and reduces the risk of feedback.

The heart of the system is the CR88x receiver with a True Diversity design. This means that the receiver has two antennas and constantly and automatically selects the one that receives a stronger signal, thus reducing the probability of audio dropouts. With a single button press, the system automatically scans for available channels and selects the cleanest frequency, while infrared communication synchronizes the transmitter with the receiver.

The system operates in the Band G frequency range, ensuring an operating distance of up to 90 meters. Special "Tone Key" technology automatically mutes the system when the transmitter is turned off or out of range, preventing unpleasant noise.
