Description
PreSonus AIR12 Active Loudspeaker
The PreSonus AIR12 is a compact, lightweight, yet extremely powerful 2-way active loudspeaker, designed for those who don't want to sacrifice sound quality for mobility. This model features a unique "Best of Both Worlds" amplification system. The 12-inch low-frequency driver is powered by an efficient Class D amplifier, providing powerful and punchy bass. Meanwhile, the high-frequency driver is controlled by a Class AB amplifier, which delivers a natural, clear, and non-fatiguing sound characteristic of high-end audio systems.
The loudspeaker has an integrated digital signal processor (DSP) with a convenient LCD screen. With a single click, you can customize the sound to your needs, choosing from preset options: "DJ" (for music playback), "FOH" (for front-of-house sound reinforcement), "Monitor" (for use as a stage monitor), or "Speech" (for conferences and presentations). Thanks to the thoughtful enclosure design and a tiltable stand socket, the AIR12 can be easily positioned to direct sound directly to the audience.
