Polk Audio Signature Elite ES10 is a powered subwoofer with a 10-inch driver.

Designed for medium-sized home theater and music systems, it can partner with Signature Elite speakers or another system offering a suitable line-level output.

A 200 W RMS Class D amplifier drives the long-throw woofer. The 32-bit floating-point DSP combines filters designed to minimize group delay with precision limiters for clear bass transients.

Front-facing Power Port technology reduces airflow turbulence and port noise. FEA-optimized internal bracing reinforces the rigid cabinet to limit unwanted resonances.

A dedicated LFE input connects to a home theater amplifier, while two RCA line-level inputs serve stereo systems. Use a preamplifier output that follows the system volume; a fixed-level tape or record output is unsuitable.

Main Features

• Time-Smart Phase Control helps blend the subwoofer with the main speakers, with phase adjustments in 45° steps.
• The adjustable fourth-order low-pass filter covers 50–160 Hz. An LFE cable connection bypasses this filter so the home theater amplifier can handle bass management.
• LEDs show the volume, filter and phase settings. Volume is adjustable on a 1–40 scale.
• Auto mode wakes the subwoofer when a signal arrives and enters standby after approximately 20 minutes without audio. An always-on mode is also available.
• Place the subwoofer on its base feet. A wall or corner increases bass output; compare several positions to find the best result in the room.
• The removable grille offers a choice of covered or visible driver.
• The black enclosure complements other Signature Elite speakers.
• The rear USB connector is marked SERVICE and is intended for servicing.
