Polk Audio RC60i In-Ceiling Speaker Pair
Each speaker combines a 6.5-inch bass/midrange driver with an aimable 0.75-inch tweeter.
The round speakers fit into the ceiling for music and home theatre installations. Their positions can be selected to suit the listening area.
The bass/midrange driver uses a mineral-filled polypropylene cone and a rubber surround. The soft-dome tweeter can be aimed towards the listening position to control the direction of direct high-frequency sound.
The white grilles and visible flanges can be painted to coordinate with the room finish. Keep the grille perforations clear and protect the drivers with the supplied paint masks when painting.
Main Features
- Speaker terminals accept cable from an external amplifier. The speakers are compatible with 8 Ω amplifier outputs.
- Recommended amplifier power is 20–100 W RMS per channel. This rating is an amplifier selection recommendation.
- Paintable grilles let the visible speaker surface coordinate with the wall or ceiling colour.
- Check the opening dimensions and available cavity depth before mounting. The mounting surface must support the speaker securely.
- An aimable tweeter allows the direction of direct high-frequency sound to be adjusted for the listening position.
- Infinite Baffle tuning uses the cavity behind the mounting surface as a virtual enclosure for bass reproduction.
- Polk lists matching use with Signature Elite, Signature, Monitor XT and T Series speakers.
