Polk Audio Monitor XT90 Height Speaker Pair
Polk Audio Monitor XT90 is a pair of passive height speakers. They add overhead effects to a compatible home theater.
An upward-facing 4-inch paper driver reflects sound from the ceiling. Height-channel information in Dolby Atmos and DTS:X soundtracks contributes a third dimension to films and games.
Place the speakers on Monitor XT20, XT60 or XT70 cabinets, on a shelf, or on a wall using the rear keyhole slots. Rubber pads are factory fitted.
Each speaker connects by cable to its own amplifier channel. Dolby Atmos or DTS:X playback requires a compatible AV amplifier with at least seven channels and support for 4- and 8-ohm speakers.
Main Features
- A 4-inch full-range driver reproduces the assigned height-channel signal.
- Upward-directed sound uses ceiling reflections to add height effects.
- The cabinet fits on top of XT20, XT60 and XT70 speakers.
- Built-in rear keyhole slots provide a wall-mounting option.
- A braced MDF cabinet reduces unwanted resonance.
- Removable grilles and nickel-plated binding posts help integrate the speakers into an existing system.
