Description
Polk Audio Monitor XT60 Floorstanding Speaker Pair
Polk Audio Monitor XT60 is a pair of passive floorstanding speakers. They can reproduce stereo music or front, side and rear home-theater channels.
Each cabinet combines a 6.5-inch Dynamic Balance driver with two passive radiators of the same size. This arrangement extends bass while preserving a clear midrange for voices and instruments.
The 1-inch Terylene dome extends to 40 kHz and carries Hi-Res Audio certification. A braced MDF cabinet and removable grilles help reduce unwanted resonance and acoustic interference.
Connect the pair to a separate amplifier through nickel-plated binding posts. Optional XT90 modules fit on top for height channels; Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding requires a compatible AV amplifier.
Main Features
- A 6.5-inch paper mid/bass driver reproduces the body of music and dialogue.
- Two 6.5-inch passive radiators extend low-frequency reproduction.
- The Terylene dome and Hi-Res Audio certification preserve high-frequency detail.
- The floorstanding design avoids the need for separate bookshelf-speaker stands.
- Rubber pads are factory fitted; wall mounting is not provided.
- Removable grilles offer covered or exposed-driver appearance.
