Description
Polk Audio Monitor XT20 Bookshelf Speaker Pair
Polk Audio Monitor XT20 is a pair of passive bookshelf speakers. Use them for stereo playback or front and surround channels in a home theater.
The 6.5-inch Dynamic Balance driver adds bass weight and midrange clarity. Compared with the smaller XT15, the XT20 extends lower and supports a higher recommended amplifier output.
A Terylene dome tweeter reaches 40 kHz. The Hi-Res Audio-certified design also includes a braced MDF cabinet, removable grilles and nickel-plated binding posts.
A separate amplifier and speaker cables are required. An optional XT90 height module fits on top; Dolby Atmos or DTS:X decoding requires a compatible AV amplifier.
Main Features
- The larger 6.5-inch paper driver reproduces bass and the midrange of voices and instruments.
- A 1-inch Terylene tweeter preserves fine high-frequency detail.
- The low-resonance MDF cabinet reduces unwanted cabinet sound.
- Place on a shelf or speaker stand; wall mounting is not provided.
- Included rubber feet help protect furniture from scratches.
- Support for XT90 modules allows a compatible home theater to gain height channels.
