Description
Polk Audio Monitor XT15 Bookshelf Speaker Pair
Polk Audio Monitor XT15 is a pair of passive bookshelf speakers. The compact enclosures can serve as stereo speakers or as front, side or rear channels in a home theater.
A Dynamic Balance mid/bass driver reproduces voices, instruments and rhythm. The Terylene dome tweeter extends to 40 kHz, and the model carries Hi-Res Audio certification.
A braced MDF cabinet reduces unwanted resonance. Removable grilles provide a choice of appearance, while nickel-plated binding posts accept a wired speaker connection.
Connect the speakers to a separate stereo or AV amplifier. In Dolby Atmos and DTS:X systems they reproduce their assigned channels; decoding takes place in the amplifier.
Main Features
- A 5.25-inch paper mid/bass driver combines clear voices and punchy bass in a compact cabinet.
- The 1-inch Terylene dome reproduces high-frequency detail.
- Hi-Res Audio certification confirms extended high-frequency reproduction.
- Use on shelves or suitable stands; wall mounting is not provided.
- Included adhesive rubber feet help protect furniture surfaces.
- The pair can form the left and right stereo channels or additional home-theater channels.
