Polk Audio Atrium 5 Outdoor Speaker Pair

Polk Audio Atrium 5 Outdoor Speaker Pair

Each Polk Audio Atrium 5 speaker uses a 5-inch Dynamic Balance driver to reproduce bass and midrange frequencies.

Designed for patios, sunrooms and other outdoor spaces, the speakers use broad dispersion to cover a larger listening area. Additional pairs can provide coverage across a more extensive outdoor system.

This driver uses a mineral-filled polypropylene cone. A 0.75-inch anodized aluminium dome tweeter reproduces the high frequencies.

The Speed-Lock bracket supports horizontal or vertical installation. Click the speaker into the bracket, aim it, then tighten the adjustment knobs. The mounting system provides 180° adjustment.

Gold-plated 5-way binding posts accept the speaker cable. A separate amplifier with suitable 8 Ω speaker outputs is required. These passive models have no built-in amplifier, Bluetooth connection or battery.

Main Features

• Polk All-Weather construction meets the environmental tests stated by the manufacturer: ASTM D5894, MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-883 Method 1009.8.
• A mineral-filled polypropylene cabinet, powder-coated aluminium grille and bracket, plus stainless steel and brass hardware are designed for outdoor use.
• Black or white cabinets and removable grilles can be painted following the manufacturer instructions. Keep the grille perforations clear of paint.
• Built-in stability feet allow placement on a shelf or another flat horizontal surface.
• Installation under eaves reduces direct exposure to the elements. The manufacturer recommends indoor storage when extreme weather is expected.
