Pioneer DJ DM-50D-BT is a pair of active two-way speakers.

Use the speakers for music production in a home studio and for DJ practice. Production mode selects a flatter frequency response, while DJ mode gives the bass a punchier character.

Each speaker combines a 127 mm glass-fibre woofer with a 19 mm soft-dome tweeter. The Class D amplifier uses 96 kHz DSP.

DECO diffusers widen high-frequency coverage. The woofer and tweeter are time-aligned, grooves in the ducts reduce air friction, and curved front edges help reduce cabinet resonance.

Bluetooth allows wireless listening from a phone or computer. Analog inputs accept a DJ controller, mixer or audio interface, and signals from all active sources are mixed.

Main Features

• Front-panel volume control and a headphone output keep both functions within reach. The speakers are muted when headphones are connected.
• DJ and Production modes change the DSP settings for mixing or music production.
• MDF cabinets with vinyl laminate use a bass reflex design for low-frequency reproduction.
• Balanced 6.35 mm TRS inputs provide an additional connection option for studio equipment.
• After approximately 20 minutes without audio, the system enters standby. It wakes when a wired input signal is received or the Bluetooth pairing button is pressed. Auto standby cannot be disabled.
• Bluetooth pairing information is stored for up to 8 devices. The pairing button can also play or pause audio when supported by the application.
• The supplied speaker cord connects the two speakers; the pair operates without a separate external amplifier.
• The supplied 3.5 mm-to-RCA cable connects an analog audio source.
• The supplied bottom cushions help prevent the speakers from sliding.
• Connect the supplied power cord to the mains after completing the audio connections.
