Pioneer DJ DJM-S5 is a 2-channel DJ mixer. Connecting it to a PC or Mac unlocks Serato DJ Pro and Serato DVS, so you can mix and scratch tracks from your library using control vinyl or DJ players.

You can also mix analog sources without a computer, provided the mixer receives USB power. One USB-C port carries audio, control data and power; the other is for power only. A separate USB adapter must provide at least 5 V / 500 mA.

Two switchable LINE/PHONO inputs accept DJ players or turntables with MM cartridges. MASTER1 XLR feeds the sound system, while RCA BOOTH/MASTER2 can serve booth monitors or a second master output. Ground terminals are provided for turntables.

The BROWSE knob navigates the library and LOAD buttons load tracks. Pressing LOAD twice loads the track from the other deck. PAD 5-8 switches pad banks, and separate level controls adjust the microphone and AUX inputs.

Main Features

• 2 effect levers support momentary or latched operation. Control up to 57 Serato effects, including paid expansion packs, and save 2 effect banks.
• 4 pads per deck and 13 modes, including Hot Cue and Sampler, let you trigger samples and rearrange tracks during a performance.
• Each channel has a filter and a 3-band EQ with full frequency-band attenuation.
• The 6.35 mm and 3.5 mm headphone outputs can be used at the same time with two pairs of headphones.
• Send the mix and microphone signal to a stream through Serato DJ Pro without an additional soundcard.
