Peavey VYPYR X3 Guitar Amplifier

Peavey VYPYR X3 Guitar Amplifier

Peavey VYPYR X3 is a modelling guitar combo amplifier with a 12-inch speaker. Its 100 W design combines electric, acoustic and bass amplifier models with built-in effects.

TransTube supplies analogue distortion, while the digital section offers 36 amplifier models. These include six acoustic and six bass models. Ten instrument models provide additional ways to transform the connected guitar's sound.

Up to five effects can operate together, with more than 400 presets available. LED indicators around the controls show recalled settings, and the LCD assists with choosing models and parameters.

Power Sponge reduces output from 100 W to 1 W. Bluetooth supports music streaming and remote control through the iOS app. Auxiliary input and headphone output provide further options for backing tracks and quiet practice.

USB carries audio and MIDI data to a computer. USB recording mutes the speaker, and auxiliary audio is not included in the USB recording signal. The built-in looper requires a separately sold Sanpera I or Sanpera II controller.
