Peavey VTM is a preamp pedal recreating the sound of the 1987 VTM 60 and VTM 120 amplifiers. TransTube technology reproduces their tube-style gain behaviour through solid-state circuitry.

Pre Gain sets drive and distortion intensity, while Post Gain adjusts output level. A passive Low, Mid and High EQ establishes the basic guitar tone.

Eight Custom Response DIP switches change gain, compression and individual frequency regions. This retains the VTM series’ circuit-voicing options in the pedal design.

A footswitch engages or bypasses the pedal processing. Anti-click circuitry reduces switching transients, while 9 V DC or battery operation suits a conventional guitar effects chain.
