Peavey Session-LTD 400 Preamp Pedal
Peavey Session-LTD 400 is a preamp pedal recreating the sound of the 1974 Session 400 and LTD 400 amplifiers. It is intended primarily for steel guitar when this preamp is needed in a separate signal chain.
Volume sets input gain and Sensitivity adjusts the final output level. Low and High shape bass and treble, while Presence changes the upper-frequency response.
Mid and Mid Shift work together on the midrange. Mid cuts the selected region and Mid Shift chooses its frequency, allowing the sound to be matched to the instrument and amplifier.
A discrete-transistor circuit generates an internal 25 V supply from a 9 V power source. This is a preamp: headphones or passive speakers require a suitable additional amplifier.
