Peavey Sanpera I Foot Controller

Peavey Sanpera I Foot Controller

Peavey Sanpera I is a foot controller for VYPYR guitar amplifiers. It gives the player access to amplifier presets and effects while playing.

Its expression pedal adjusts volume, wah or pitch when the corresponding effect is selected on the amplifier. A toe switch changes between the main and auxiliary functions.

Four switches provide preset selection, bank access and amplifier looper control. In looper mode the player can record a phrase, start playback, stop it or clear the recording.

Power comes from the amplifier through the supplied special eight-pin MIDI cable. Switch assignments and the available preset banks depend on the VYPYR model and selected mode.

Main Features

• An expression pedal changes volume or an effect parameter without interrupting the performance.
• Switch LEDs indicate the selected mode and active functions.
• Preset mode recalls amplifier settings and allows edited settings to be stored.
• Bank-select mode accesses the other preset groups available in the amplifier.
• Looper control lets the player record a backing phrase and play over its playback.
• In looper mode the selected stompbox and delay effects can be switched independently.
• A cast-metal enclosure and metal switches provide a construction intended for foot operation.
