Peavey Rage 158 Guitar Amplifier

Peavey Rage 158 Guitar Amplifier

Peavey Rage 158 is a solid-state guitar combo with an eight-inch Blue Marvel speaker. Its power amplifier is rated at 15 W RMS into 4 ohms. The integrated-speaker enclosure is ready to play when an electric guitar is connected.

The TransTube circuit shapes distortion and amplifier response. Clean and Lead channels select clean or overdriven sounds. The Clean channel has its own Volume control, while Lead Pre Gain and Post Gain separately set gain and output level.

Low, Mid and High controls operate a passive three-band equalizer. The Modern / Vintage voicing switch changes the overall amplifier response and works alongside the channel and EQ settings.

The 1/4-inch CD / Tape input connects a music source for playing along with recordings. The headphone connection provides personal monitoring; inserting a headphone plug disconnects the internal speaker.
