Peavey PVs 15 is a powered subwoofer with a 15-inch driver and DSP-controlled amplifier. The manufacturer specifies 1000 W peak available power, which is not a continuous RMS rating. It adds low-frequency output to a full-range system.

DSP handles crossover filters, compression, limiting and low-frequency EQ. Crossover adjustment from 90 to 180 Hz matches the subwoofer with the main speakers. A Bass Enhance switch provides additional low-frequency shaping.

A combination XLR/1/4-inch TRS input accepts balanced line-level audio. Two High-Pass XLR outputs send filtered audio to powered main speakers, while a separate Full-Range Thru XLR output distributes a full-range signal.

A polarity switch selects 0 or 180 degrees, and Ground Lift controls signal-cable shield grounding. The 15 mm MDF enclosure has metal grilles, steel handles and large locking casters for transport.

An M20 threaded speaker pole is included for a suitable top speaker. The PVs 15 net weight is 37 kg; its transport packaging is not included in that figure.
