Peavey PVi 1000 is a two-channel audio power amplifier for passive speakers. Each channel delivers 215 W into 8 ohms or 360 W into 4 ohms in stereo mode, measured under EIA conditions at 1 kHz and 0.1% THD.

Stereo mode accepts separate signals, while Parallel mode sends one input to both channels with independent level adjustment. Bridge mode combines both channels for one load: 720 W into 8 ohms or 850 W into 4 ohms.

Balanced XLR and 1/4-inch TRS inputs connect to a mixer or audio processor. Outputs use twist-lock speaker connectors and binding posts. Rear-panel switches select input sensitivity, and Ground Lift helps manage hum caused by signal ground loops.

Two front level controls each have 40 detented positions. Signal, Clip, Protect, Power and Bridge LEDs indicate signal and operating status. Protection circuits respond to short circuits, overheating and other abnormal loads described in the manual.

The 19-inch, 2U chassis fits an equipment rack. Cooling is automatic, so installation must preserve the airflow required by the manual. Select the operating mode and appropriate output wiring before connecting speakers.
