Peavey P1 BT is a powered loudspeaker with 2 6.5-inch drivers and a one-inch high-frequency compression driver in one elongated enclosure. Total peak amplifier power is 180 W, and the speaker operates from AC mains.

A built-in three-channel mixer combines two microphone or line sources with music. The first two channels provide XLR microphone and 1/4-inch line inputs. Each channel has two-band EQ and volume adjustment to balance connected sources.

The third channel accepts Bluetooth, RCA or 3.5 mm AUX audio. Bluetooth 5 A2DP provides music streaming, and Stereo Link pairs compatible P-series BT speakers for stereo playback.

Sync XLR input and output distribute signal to multiple speakers, each with independent master volume. The 1/4-inch subwoofer output carries line-level audio; it does not power a passive speaker.

Drivers and electronics share one enclosure, so this model is not assembled from separate modular sections. Mixer controls, connections and master volume are accessible on the rear.
