Peavey MAX 300 is a bass guitar combo with 2 10-inch speakers.

Continuous output is 200 watts RMS into 3 ohms at 1% THD and 1 kHz. DDT protection limits power-amplifier clipping, while TransTube Overdrive changes the preamp drive character.

Bass, Middle and Treble establish the basic tone. Contour changes the overall frequency curve, Mid Shift selects the midrange region, and Bright changes upper-frequency emphasis.

Kosmos-C shapes low-frequency harmonics. An angled speaker baffle directs sound towards the player, reducing the need to tilt the cabinet itself.

Separate inputs accommodate active and passive instruments. XLR DI with Ground Lift sends a feed to the console, the effects loop accepts external processing, and Aux and headphone connections support practice.
