Peavey invective.MH is an all-tube guitar amplifier in a head format for connection to a compatible guitar speaker cabinet.

Two EL84 power tubes and three 12AX7/ECC83 preamp tubes form a 20-watt RMS amplifier. Selectable 20-, 5- and 1-watt settings match the output to the playing environment.

Clean and Lead channels separate clean sounds from higher-gain drive. Tight, Gate and Boost functions operate on Lead, while Resonance and Presence adjust power-amplifier response.

The effects loop accepts external processors and pedals. The MSDI XLR output simulates a miked guitar speaker, while USB sends audio to a computer for recording.

Speaker Defeat disconnects the speaker output and uses an internal load, allowing silent recording or headphone practice. T.S.I. indicators show the power-tube status.
