Peavey Aureus 28 is a digital mixing console with 28 inputs and 14 outputs. A 10-inch multi-touch display works alongside physical controls and browser-based remote operation.

Sixteen XLR / 1/4-inch combo inputs accept microphone or line signals. Additional stereo, RCA, USB and Bluetooth inputs accommodate music sources, with 48 V phantom power available for compatible microphones.

Nine motorized 100 mm faders, 14 encoders and 45 backlit buttons provide direct access to console functions. Channel, EQ, gate and compressor presets offer starting points, with the option to save your own settings.

The built-in Wi-Fi supports up to ten simultaneous control devices running an HTML5-compatible browser. Password-protected buses let performers adjust their own monitor mixes. A tablet placed in the onboard dock can act as a second control screen.

Two effects engines provide 23 effects, including reverb and delay. Scenes, shows and channel settings can be stored on USB media. Computer USB audio uses two channels in each direction for stereo transfer, rather than individual 28-channel multitrack recording.
