Peavey 6505 MH is a compact all-tube guitar amplifier head. Its Rhythm and Lead channels have separate gain controls for setting up cleaner sounds alongside saturated lead tones.

Two EL84 power tubes and three 12AX7/ECC83 preamp tubes form the signal path. Selectable 20, 5 and 1 W power settings let you adjust output for different playing situations while retaining the tube circuitry.

Both channels share a three-band EQ. Bright and Crunch switches on the Rhythm channel, together with Presence and Resonance controls, provide further adjustment for the guitar and cabinet being used.

MSDI XLR and USB outputs connect the amplifier to live sound or recording equipment. A headphone output and the internal load in Speaker Defeat mode support silent use when the amplifier is set up as described in its manual.
