Description
MIDAS MR18 18-Input Digital Mixer
The MIDAS MR18 is an 18-input digital mixer designed for live sound, multitrack recording, personal monitor mixing and studio applications. Its stagebox-style design allows the mixer to be positioned close to performers while all mixing functions are controlled remotely from a tablet or computer.
Sixteen balanced XLR/TRS combo inputs feature MIDAS PRO microphone preamps with individually switchable 48 V phantom power. Two additional balanced TRS inputs can be used for stereo line-level sources, keyboards, media players and other external audio equipment.
The M AIR control software provides remote operation from iPad, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux devices. The integrated tri-mode network interface supports Access Point, Wi-Fi Client and wired Ethernet operation, allowing the control setup to be adapted to different venues and production environments.
An integrated 18 × 18 USB audio interface enables multitrack recording and playback at 44.1 or 48 kHz. The mixer also includes four stereo effects engines, six Aux buses, 100-band real-time analysis, automatic microphone mixing and a 16-channel ULTRANET output for compatible personal monitoring systems.
