Description
MIDAS M32R LIVE Compact 40-Channel Digital Mixing Console
MIDAS M32R LIVE is a compact 40-input-channel digital mixing console with 16 MIDAS PRO microphone preamplifiers, 25 mix buses and integrated multitrack recording for live sound, studio, broadcast and post-production applications.
The console processes 32 main input channels, 8 auxiliary input channels and 8 FX return channels. Its output structure consists of 16 auxiliary buses, 6 matrices and a main L/R and mono/centre bus. The 40-bit floating-point DSP and 0.8 ms console input-to-output latency are designed for real-time audio mixing.
The 16 MIDAS PRO microphone preamplifiers feature individually switchable +48 V phantom power. MIDAS PRO motorised faders are rated for up to 1 million operating cycles, while programmable LCD scribble strips help identify channels and buses. The main 5-inch TFT display provides access to routing, signal processing, effects and metering parameters.
The integrated DN32-LIVE card provides up to 32 x 32 channels of USB 2.0 audio and MIDI connectivity with a computer. Two SD/SDHC card slots enable recording and playback of up to 32 channels of uncompressed WAV audio without a computer, supporting virtual soundchecks and playback of previously recorded material.
Dual AES50 ports with Klark Teknik SuperMAC technology support up to 96 input and 96 output channels with compatible digital stage boxes and other AES50-equipped devices. The ULTRANET connection sends 16 channels to a P16 personal monitoring system, while Ethernet, MIDI and USB connections provide remote-control and DAW integration options.
