MIDAS M32C 40-Channel Digital Rack Mixer

The MIDAS M32C is a 40-channel, 25-bus digital rack mixer designed for live sound, installed audio systems, studios and broadcast applications.

The processing system of the M32 digital console is housed in a compact 1U aluminium and steel chassis. The M32C has no built-in analogue channel inputs, so audio sources are connected through compatible AES50 stage boxes such as the MIDAS DL16 or DL32. Two AES50 SuperMAC ports support up to 96 network input and 96 network output channels, while the mixer processes 40 input channels simultaneously.

The processing architecture provides 32 main input channels, 8 aux channels, 8 FX return channels, 16 aux buses, 6 matrices and the main L/R and mono/centre bus. Eight onboard true-stereo effects engines provide reverb, delay, equalisation, dynamics processing and other effects without requiring additional external processors.

The M32C can be controlled remotely using the M32-EDIT, M32-MIX and M32-Q applications. The factory-installed DN32-USB card transfers up to 32 recording and 32 playback channels between the mixer and a computer, while the ULTRANET output sends 16 audio channels to a P16 personal monitoring system. USB, Ethernet, MIDI and a replaceable expansion card slot allow the mixer to be integrated into live sound, studio, broadcast and installed audio systems.
