MIDAS DL8 8-Input, 8-Output Digital Stage Box

The MIDAS DL8 is an 8-input, 8-output digital stage box designed for professional live sound and stage monitoring systems.

Its eight balanced XLR/TRS combo inputs feature remotely controlled MIDAS PRO microphone preamplifiers. +48 V phantom power can be switched independently for each input. Eight balanced XLR line outputs provide connections for stage monitors, powered loudspeakers, amplifiers and other audio equipment.

Two AES50 SuperMAC ports support multichannel digital audio transmission and allow additional stage boxes to be connected in sequence. NEUTRIK etherCON connectors provide secure network cable connections, while the DL8 parameters can be controlled remotely from a compatible digital mixing console or mixer.

The unit also provides two powered ULTRANET outputs for BEHRINGER P16-M monitor mixers and compatible TURBOSOUND loudspeaker systems. The DL8 can be powered from an AC outlet or through its AES50-A port using a compatible PoE source. The included rack ears allow installation in a standard 19-inch rack enclosure.
