Marantz CINEMA 70s SERIES 2 is a compact 7.2-channel AV receiver delivering 50 watts of amplification per channel.

Seven discrete power amplifier channels combine with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization to support immersive sound for films, music and games. An upgraded 32-bit, 8-channel DAC handles multichannel digital audio reproduction.

Six HDMI inputs provide connections for streaming devices, disc players and game consoles. Three support video signals up to 8K/60 Hz or 4K/120 Hz, while the HDMI output with eARC receives audio from a compatible TV. HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Dynamic HDR, VRR, ALLM and AMD FreeSync support suit current video and gaming sources.

Built-in HEOS provides music streaming and multi-room audio, while AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Ethernet offer flexible connectivity and control. Audyssey MultEQ XT automatically adjusts the system for the listening room, with an optional paid Dirac Live upgrade available for expanded room correction. A phono MM input accepts a compatible turntable, and 7.2-channel pre-outs support external power amplifiers.
