Marantz CINEMA 70s is a compact 7.2-channel home cinema AV amplifier designed for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound, 8K video and high-resolution music playback.

The seven-channel Class A/B amplifier delivers 50 W per channel into 8 ohms from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with 0.08% total harmonic distortion when driving two channels. Separate amplification circuitry is used for each channel, while the 7.2-channel pre-amplifier outputs allow the system to be expanded with external power amplifiers.

Marantz CINEMA 70s supports Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization, DTS:X, DTS Neural:X and DTS Virtual:X formats. Audyssey MultEQ room correction works with the supplied calibration microphone to adjust the speaker settings for the listening position and room acoustics.

Six HDMI inputs allow a set-top box, media player, games console and other video sources to be connected. Three HDMI inputs support video signals up to 8K/60 Hz or 4K/120 Hz, while the HDMI output with eARC carries high-resolution audio from a compatible television. Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HLG, Dynamic HDR, VRR, ALLM and QFT technologies are also supported.

Built-in HEOS, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TuneIn, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi and Ethernet provide flexible network music playback. The amplifier supports FLAC, WAV and ALAC files at up to 24-bit/192 kHz, as well as DSD recordings at up to 5.6 MHz. An MM phono input allows a compatible turntable to be connected directly.
