Marantz CINEMA 50 is a 9.4-channel home cinema AV amplifier designed for Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro-3D surround sound, 8K video, gaming systems and high-resolution music playback.

The nine-channel Class A/B amplifier delivers 110 W per channel into 8 ohms from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with 0.08% total harmonic distortion when driving two channels. Separate amplification circuitry is used for each channel, supported by Marantz HDAM modules and current-feedback topology.

Marantz CINEMA 50 includes nine powered channels but can process up to 11.4 channels of audio. Its 11.4-channel pre-amplifier outputs allow the system to be expanded with an external power amplifier. Four independent subwoofer outputs provide additional flexibility for distributing low-frequency sound across different positions in the room.

Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room correction works with the supplied calibration microphone to adjust the speakers and subwoofers for the listening position and room acoustics. The amplifier can also be upgraded with optional Dirac Live room correction.

All six HDMI inputs support video signals up to 8K/60 Hz or 4K/120 Hz. The amplifier also supports eARC, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HLG, Dynamic HDR, VRR, ALLM and QFT. Built-in HEOS, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TuneIn, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi and Ethernet provide flexible network and multiroom music playback.
